Art Your Way Through Life: A Conscious Journey to More Creativity

Book Synopsis: Can you relate to always feeling “different” than those around you as a creative person? What about putting your heart and soul into your work only to have it criticized, rejected, ignored, or even worse thrown in the garbage? Maybe you too can relate to once having a dream to be an artist only to get it shot down with only a few seconds of consideration. I've been in your shoes experiencing rejection and societal, familial, and cultural conditioning that told me that creating art wasn't important or valuable. (Of course, this couldn't be farther from the truth!) What I learned is that it's NOT about avoiding rejection. That will always be a possibility. Maybe you too have made the same CRITICAL MISTAKE that I did: rejecting myself and my art and allowing that to stop me from creating.

We may not have been responsible for what happened to us in the past, but we are the ones who are responsible for creating our lives now. So, it’s up to us to heal our wounds as best we can so we can love ourselves and live a happy and fulfilling life as artists. I know for a fact that art makes the world a better place so it’s worth the effort to do this work. The more happy and creative artists we have the better!

I know, I know you might be thinking, ‘But I don’t have an audience’. Everyone has an audience. You just might not have created it yet. I believe that when we are courageous and put our art out there CONSISTENTLY then our audience will come to us.
