They immediately sent a flurry of messages to their fellow Swifties: Tricia, Kailyn, Lylah, and Layla. They set the plan in motion: they would meet at their favorite bookstore, Barnes & Noble, right after school and buy the book together. Their excitement was palpable, each message filled with emojis and capital letters.

As the school bell rang, signaling the end of the day, they dashed out, backpacks swinging and laughter echoing. The bookstore, with its familiar scent of fresh paper and brewed coffee, was a haven for them, where they’d spent countless hours discussing Taylor’s lyrics, music videos, and concerts. Today, it promised a new treasure.

Isabelle, an older sister of Emma and Sarah, drove the girls. She was just as excited and as much a Swiftie, though she remained far cooler on the outside.
