Biographies - Finding Myself

Description

Book Synopsis: Carlie's life--observations and thoughts, photos, and more, especially to be presented to her mother for her birthday. Who I AmHaving any kind of cancer isn't a joke. Hi, my name is Carlie Foutch and I'm a 15-year old with cancer. Yes, starting this at fifteen is crazy, right? I've been battling cancer for about two years now, funny isn't it. Here are two important things I have learned through my journey so far. First, your real friends will stay with you the entire time. Second, your fake friends will come and go as you go through all your treatments. We'll get to those later, but first I should probably tell you about myself and what I have learned.I was born June 16th of 2007.I'm a summer baby and if anyone tries to correct me, they will always be wrong. I'm stubborn and I always like to be right. At least that's what my family tells me. Family is family and no matter what, you want to have a good relationship with them. If you don't have a good relationship with someone in your family and something bad happens to them, you will regret everything that you said or did to them.Other than having my friends and family I have sports. Basketball is my all-time favorite sport. Not only did I play basketball, but I played softball and volleyball in school. I love to watch the NFL with my dad, our favorite team is the Kansas City Chiefs. On the Chiefs, my favorite player was Tyreek Hill, aka "the cheetah." He was number 10 and accepted a trade and now he plays for the Dolphins. I wasn't really a huge fan of volleyball and I only played it for two reasons. The first reason I played volleyball was to help with my jumps so I could jump higher for my lay-ups. The second reason I played it was so I could be in shape for basketball. Volleyball is my least favorite sport.
