Book Synopsis: Della’s sister, Sophia, comes to Clover to help Della discover why the FBI wants to investigate the hit and run case in which Della’s husband was the victim, but the accident occurred over a year ago. Neither Della nor Sophia expect to help solve a possible murder mystery at the same time they’re looking into the hit and run case.

While Sophia and Della try to find out why Seth, Della’s deceased husband, had a gun she never knew about, they uncover more secrets about Seth, and everything Della believed about him is upended. Maybe Bea wasn’t the only one who didn’t really know her husband!
